Meet Nina! A sweet gal who made her way to NY through rescue transport from Mississippi, she is your typical GSD type. She would make an excellent running/hiking partner as well as a snuggle buddy. She is a strong personality and can be dog selective, so a meet & greet for any potential dog siblings would be required. She does not do well with cats. She is doing her best to learn basic manners here at the shelter but any potential home should be prepared to continue basic obedience training to help Nina be her best self. Adoptions are done by appointment only with an approved application. You must submit an application via saugertiesanimalshelter.com and once approved we will contact you to schedule an appointment. Before submitting an application, please be sure to let your references know that we will be calling and give your veterinarian permission to speak with us.
